According to MLA guidelines, in a Works Cited page you should "indent the second and subsequent lines of citations five spaces so that you create a hanging indent."
Ever wonder how to do that in Microsoft Word? Use the "hanging indent" feature:
First select the text (your citations).
- There is a horizontal ruler that runs along the top of your Microsoft Word document. (If you don't see it, click the tiny "View Ruler" button at the top of the vertical scroll bar.) On the horizontal ruler, drag the Hanging Indent marker to the position at which you want the indent to start.
