Books are organized by subject using a system of call numbers. A fun way to see what's in the library can be to go straight to the shelves! Look in three places:

Looking for magazine, newspaper, or academic/ scholarly/ peer-reviewed journal articles on a certain topic? Here are some eResources that are great for Web Design & Interactive Media:

Arts & Humanities Full Text (access through the eResources page)
500 titles featuring both scholarly peer-reviewed journals and selected trade and consumer titles relevant to applied arts and cultural studies.

Design and Applied Arts Index (DAAI) (access through the eResources page)
Contains over 130,000 annotated references from more than 500 design and craft journals and newspapers published from 1973 onwards, and data on over 50,000 designers, craftspeople, studios, workshops, firms, etc. The database is not full-text.

SIRS Renaissance (access through the eResources page)
Provides full-text articles from more than 1,200 domestic and international publications on the following topics: architecture and design, culture, literature, multimedia, music, performing arts, philosophy and religion, and visual arts.
